School Programs
All of our school programs are offered for FREE! P.I.N.K. & B.L.U.E. are offered at Crestview, Lincolnview, and Van Wert Schools. Teen Support is offered at those schools as well as Synergy & Vantage. Find out more about each below.
Our School Programs
- P.I.N.K. P.I.N.K. (purity, integrity, new ideas, and knowledge) is geared toward middle school-aged girls.
- B.L.U.E. B.L.U.E. (Boys Learning, Understanding, and Excelling) is the same concept as P.I.N.K. except all topics are adjusted for Middle School aged boys.
- Teen Support Teen support is a free service offered to all Van Wert County schools for pregnant teens and teen moms.
It is a free, voluntary program designed to increase self-esteem and positive decision-making skills as teen girls deal with issues that can impact the rest of their lives.
The P.I.N.K. Group will look at the many issues teens face today including:
- Self-Esteem
- Positive Body Image
- The Value of Friendships
- Goal Setting
- Effective Communication
- Healthy Relationships
- Abstinence
- Dating
- Internet Safety/Pornography
- Human Trafficking
B.L.U.E. is on hiatus while we look for someone to lead this program.
This program brings the PLC Health Clinic's "Learn while you earn" classes to the teen. Our Teen Services Coordinator will make arrangements with the school for the best time to meet with a student. Typically, the meetings will take place during the students lunch or bonus time. Classes will be geared towards the need of each student.
